About the Author

Michael Rayes is a native of Arizona and a Catholic father and husband. He is currently finishing a counselor-training program and will soon be a licensed marriage and family therapist. Rayes is the author of numerous articles on Catholic marriage and parenting as well as two books. He resides in sunny Arizona where he tries to stay in the shade with his wife, their seven children, and their pet chickens.
