The cover has brown cloth. 279 pages. The first part has 16 chapters; the second part has 9 chapters; one chapter includes tables of statistics to 1901, There is a publisher's note dated 1911. The cloth is threadbare on most of the boards' corners and has faded spots. The spine strip is frayed on both ends and has a 1/8 in. and a linear 3/4 in. hole. The front endpaper's' fold is split. The front hinge is weak. The back hinge is split most of the way. Owners' names and notes, in pencil and ink, are on the free endpapers and on the last blank page. The endpapers and the last five pages have stains. 43 pages each have a stain, up to 3/8 in., on the top margin. A few other pages have small stains. Scans e-mailed upon request.
