English poet Bryan Waller Procter, or Barry Cornwall by pseudonym. Portraits include Procter, Charles Lamb, William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, John Keats, N. P. Willis, John Kenyon, Robert Browning, Walter Savage Landor, Edmund Kean, Adelaide Proctor, Anna Jameson, Leigh Hunt, Samuel Rogers, David Garrick and his wife, Charles Robert Leslie, William Hazlitt, and Count D'Orsay. This is a pre-publication installment of the book that would be published in 1876 by James R. Osgood, Boston. Housed in protective mylar report cover with spine sleeve.
