Reprint Edition. 4-5/8" x 7-5/8", ix + 437pp. Printed on acidic paper and perfect case bound in pale green cloth boards with drawing screened on front panel and title block on spine, both in maroon. Missing jacket. Minor shelf wear, light soiling to boards, and the spine is slightly faded / discolored. Front end papers are split at the gutter. Both sides of front free end paper are covered with notes --- this appears to have been a working bartender's copy. Binding remains square and tight. Pages are evenly tanned but aside from the previously mentioned notes, clean and unmarked. Seller Inventory # 004919

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. BCE. 1972 Book Club Edition hardcover in cream colored paper covered boards with a few small soil dots on frt cov and dj spine. Micro divot near foot of frt gutter on dj, light even age-toning on cream background dj photograph. 434pp text is crisp, clean and unmarked. Spine ends bumped, tips still sharp.
