Jack Hudson, W9MU, was the head of the Electronics Program at College of Lake County, Grayslake, Illinois, where he taught a wide-range of electronics courses to community college students as well as sailors from the nearby Great Lakes Naval Training Center. He is a licensed Extra Class amateur radio operator.

Jerry Luecke holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. He worked for Texas Instruments, and is the author and editor of many electronics texts.
