About the Author
Sharad Ranjan is an Associate Professor of Economics at Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), University of Delhi, with a teaching experience of more than two decades. He is a PhD from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, JNU, New Delhi. He has published many research
papers in various journals of repute such as Economic & Political Weekly, Social Scientist, Indian Journal of Labour Economics, Productivity and Journal of Rural Development. He has also authored five books. He has conducted 100 workshops on financial literacy on behalf of the Securities and Exchange Board of India as resource person. He has also co-supervised and evaluated PhD theses.
Nupur Tyagi, an Assistant Professor at Gargi College, University of Delhi, has completed her graduation from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, and postgraduated from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She is a rank holder in both BCom(H) and MCom. She is currently pursuing MPhil from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her area of interest is finance and accounting.
