Yet, to appreciate the technology truly one should know the fundamentals of computer engineering. Hence, the subject has been rightly included in initial years of engineering education by many universities. Fundamentals of computer engineering are equally important in other disciplines too, so that they use computers effectively in their own domains.

Council of Science and Technology Bhopal, Founder Director of SCOPE College Bhopal, Director, Rukmani Devi Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, Director Thakral College of Technology, Oriental Group of Institutes Bhopal. Principal, Bansal Institutes of Research and Technology. He is editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Emerging Technology and Advisor of International Journal of Pharmaceutical Science.
Dr. D. K. Swami, Presently he is Group Director, VNS Group of Institutions, Bhopal. Before joining VNS in 2008, he has served Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI), Vidisha for 20 years. He obtained his Ph. D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2007 from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal. He completed M. Tech in Computer Applications from IIT, Delhi in 1994. During his stint of more than 25 years of teaching, he has taught various courses in computer science to the students of BE, M. Tech. and MCA students. Teaching is his passion, and he has good number of research publications and he has guided ample number of students in their research and project work. He is life member of ISTE and senior life member of CSI. Areas of his special interest include Data Mining, DBMS, Object Oriented System and software Engineering.
