Miles Van Pelt (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is the Alan Hayes Belcher, Jr. Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He is the author or coauthor of numerous books in the field of biblical language acquisition, including the bestselling introductory grammar, Basics of Biblical Hebrew, coauthored with Gary D.
