About the Author

Andrew Tanner is a successful designer-maker who also acts as a consultant for the Next Step scheme run by the Crafts Council. He has won The Young Designer of the Year Award in 2005 and the Decorative Product of the Year Award from the National Home awards. He has designed and produced limited editions for Crabtree & Evelyn and WATTS & Co. and has sold work through Donna Karin and Libertys. Interview and images of his work have been published in many national papers and magazines including the Guardian, Marie Claire, Vogue, Living Etc. and Elle Decoration. He runs his own business taking on commissions and showing his work at all the top Craft Fairs, as well as lecturing around the country. His most recent commission is to make a ceramic collection for Cole & Son, Royal Wallpaper suppliers to be sold in the Palace shop.
