Stated Fourth Edition. 5 x 8in. xcix. 116pp. 16pp. 4 engraved folding maps, three folding and two panoramic. Bound in three quarters polished calf over cloth boards. Spine with 6 decorated compartments. The engraved armorial bookplate of D.T. Murphy at the front paste-down. VERY GOOD. Shows the extremities shelf rubbed with hints of minor surface losses, some losses from the hinges but holding strong, the second blank has been neatly reattached, a chip from the corner of the front endpaper, two very brief former owner annotations of the period, otherwise the binding is strong, the text and plates are exceptionally clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
