BattleTech: Shrapnel, Issue #21: (The Official BattleTech Magazine)

RAISE YOUR GLASS

Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine is your guide to celebrating your latest triumphs amid the hard-fought BattleMech combat of the 31st century and beyond!

A young Colonial Marshal on a new assignment in the Fronc Reaches must lead an untried local militia against the vicious pirate forces of the notorious “Bloody Jenny.” A high-level government worker on an independent planet bordering Free Worlds League space sees the proposal of Andurien “peacekeeping troops” for what it truly is, but how can he throw a wrench in the Duchy’s plans for conquest? And on Solaris VII, the Ghost Dogs seek an armed and highly dangerous Clan fugitive hiding amid the bloodthirsty crowds…

In this issue, you’ll head to the far-flung fringes of the Periphery, where a lone mercenary MechWarrior is the only thing standing against unknown invaders. Then visit New Avalon during the destructive final gasps of the FedCom Civil War, where a little-used ’Mech hangar shelters unexpected treasures. And finally, dive into our latest serial novel, Fortune and Glory, by James Bixby, in which Ace Darwin’s WhipIts must use their ingenuity to survive their most dangerous contract yet: a movie set!

Celebrate your latest victory responsibly with guides to bar beverages and gambling options across the Inner Sphere, serve the Celestial Wisdom by joining the local order of honorable Lorix Creed adherents, then wade back into battle armed with vital intel reports, technical readouts, playable scenarios, and more—a celebratory gift from your favorite BattleTech authors and the next generation of promising rookies:
