A Very Good, blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine TEG with some blemishes, deckle fore-edge and bottom text block edge, age toning to pages, some rubbing to board and spine edges, sunned spines, bit spine lean, small bookstore sticker bottom front free endpaper most Volumes (one without sticker, one with sticker top verso top rear endpaper and one with sticker on second front free endpaper, spine buckram starting to separate from backing material, few uncut pages, some board corner and spine edge wear, tissue protected frontis, binding intact, some handling/scuffing to boards, few small dents along board edges, bit of scattered foxing to text block edges, mild biblichor, rear board of Frederick Douglass is bent and creased in the middle.
