The Bears: Descent into darkness

This is not a celebration of darkness, but rather, a raw and unflinching portrayal of it, and a testament to the capacity for survival in even the bleakest landscapes of the human heart.

Follow Edward as he battles on the streets of Liverpool; twice on a murder charge; seeking solace and revenge in the wilderness of Alaska and Canada; and on a roadtrip through the USA to confront unimaginable trauma. Is it revenge that Edward seeks against the bears, or are they a manifestation of his self destructive persona? Edwards life of constant adventure sees him getting involved in a devastating spiral into crime and death, but emerge stronger, though haunted by the ghost of his past. And bears. Bears everywhere.

There is no sugarcoating here, no attempt to sanitize the harsh realities of violence and despair. Edward's journey is brutal, relentless, and deeply unsettling. As he battles to stay alive, the ghosts of his past constantly threaten to catch up with him, but somehow he manages to battle through the dark and find light in young love and companionship.

But within his struggle, there is a flicker of hope, a tenacity of spirit that refuses to be extinguished. Reader, be warned: this journey will not be easy, but it might just be necessary.
