Eight full-page illustrations in colour. Very bright covers with minimal wear; some foxing, mainly to edges but with one or two pages more heavily affected. Tightly bound, with neat Christmas 1919 inscription on front endpaper. The design of this book is to rouse interest in and sympathy for the animals that work more or less diligently and faithfully in the service of man. Very good copy for its age.
