Beasts Gone Bananas: Fun Animal Poems for Kids

Beasts Gone Bananas is a colorful collection of 27 original animal poems for kids ages 2-8 (and the grown-ups who love reading with them).

Each poem introduces a different animal with big personality-some silly, some sweet, some delightfully dramatic. With lively rhythm, playful language, and clever surprises, these poems are written to be read aloud, laughed over, and enjoyed again and again.

Every poem is paired with a charming, expressive illustration-but the heart of the book is the words themselves. This is poetry kids can repeat, memorize, and use as inspiration to create their own animal poems and drawings.

Inside you'll meet meerkats, hippos, parrots, octopuses, capybaras, alpacas, and many more unforgettable beasts.

Perfect for:

- Bedtime reading

- Preschool and early elementary classrooms

- Storytime and read-aloud sessions

- Sparking conversations about animals and creativity

- Birthday, holiday, and baby shower gifts

In the playful spirit of classic children's poets like Shel Silverstein, Beasts Gone Bananas celebrates rhythm, imagination, and the wonderfully goofy side of the animal kingdom.

A book to laugh with. A book to share. A book to gift. A book to return to again and again.
