Synopsis
This book is part of a series called Nekudat Chan (Beauty Spot, or beautiful places in Hebrew), which is based on a popular weekly television program of the same name. Once a week, Israeli television broadcasts a short program describing a site or a landscape. Over the years, many films have been made, and thus audiences have come to know numerous sites through their television screen. Now we have a series of books containing color photographs, maps, and clear instructions for reaching the described locations. Most of the sites are away from the main routes. Some can be reached by car, others require a short walk. These include archaeological and historical sites as well as scenic areas.
