A beautiful example of the First Edition Library's facsimile of the Fitzgerald original published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1922. The book is as new, stiff and resists opening. I can't find a flaw in the dust jacket, other than some light age-toning, still fine. The slipcase has a dot on the top edge and a couple of small dings, otherwise fine, with similar toning to the dust jacket. Photos are the best description. First Edition Library published exact facsimiles of desirable first editions, down to the smallest details- cloth, paper, binding, and first edition points were identical to the originals. The series is now out of print, and these facsimile books have become collectible in their own right. The publisher's information card describing details about the book and its publishing is important to collectors, and this book has it.
