The Beautiful Golden Butterfly (Values & Perceptions)

The Beautiful Golden Butterfly is more than a heart-warming story of self-discovery. It is a layered parable delivered in language and art. The art presented on text pages as well as on wonderfully characterized adjoining pages imitates her transition: from receding to “ready to Fly and find her true Destiny”.A stranger happens along and is puzzled to learn that a Beautiful Golden Butterfly, seemingly trapped in a cocoon, has chosen to remain isolated because she does not believe in herself.Without buying into the negative beliefs carefully maintained by the Beautiful Golden Butterfly, he compassionately presents his perspective of his experience of her true situation. His fresh views assist her in transitioning from one who is full of self-doubt into The Beautiful Golden Butterfly she was anyway. After all, truly recognizing her wonder was“Just a perception away”.
