The Beauty Queen's Guide to World Peace: Money, Power and Mayhem in the Twenty-first Century

In this groundbreaking and controversial new book Dan Plesch-one of the few Britons ever to provide evidence on military issues to the US Senate and House of Representatives-argues that there can be no military solution to terrorism: world peace requires an economic and political revolution founded on the principles of democracy and human rights. The Beauty Queen's Guide to World Peace uses historical evidence alongside theories by everyone from Marx to Adam Smith, and an unrivalled command of the facts about military conflict in the twenty-first century to make a powerful case against the warmongers and provide a compelling blueprint for peace.
