Becki and the Trailer Kids (Spring) (Becki's Farming Adventures)

Do you know how to raise seven orphaned dairy goat kids? Nine-year-old Becki is up for the challenge. She learns how to care for baby goats inside an old trailer until one day, the gregarious kid Blackie disappears through a hole in the trailer!

Debut author Nancy McNeil explores themes of family, responsibility, love, friendship, self-confidence, and courage in the Becki's Farming Adventures series for 5- to 8-year-olds. In the first book, Becki and the Trailer Kids (Spring), join Becki and her new best friend, Jane, as they use their STEAM skills to prevent losing more kids and in their search for Blackie. Accompanied by farm dogs Luna and Branta, will they find Blackie first before a bear, cougar, or coyote does?

A superb adventure story with vibrant illustrations that children will want to read many times over!

I've always been a reader and a writer. From my earliest school memories, I loved reading children's picture books, authoring short stories, drawing, and exploring libraries. Books filled my walls as their stories filled my soul. University, followed by marriage, full-time employment while raising twins. and operating a part-time small farming business kept me busy! It wasn't until retirement that I found time to write my children's farming adventure picture books. Children love adventure, and books open doors to new adventures. Perhaps the transported listener will author their own stories and draw their own illustrations. That is my greatest wish. Please visit my website: nancymcneilauthor.com
