An amusing cast of retired military buffers and their wives informed by the pseudonymous author's long experience of high command in both the RAF and as the Queen's Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey, his birthplace. Sir Peter de Lacey Cheminant (1920-2018) who served for 41 years in the RAF, adopted the pseudonym for these novels.
