Good + / -- Fifth edition. B/w frontispiece of the author and many other illustrations. Text followed by eight pages of adverts. Black titles to spine and black titles and decorations to upper cover grey-green card covers. Binding is OK although spine is rather worn with a 1 cm slit at the foot of the backstrip and fraying at the head of the spine. Light soiling to the covers. and end papers. Even tanning to page edges.No inscriptions. Not ex-library. OK as a reading copy.
