14.5x9 cm. Original green cloth with title gilt-stamped on front. Very good condition. 97, [9] pp. 7 (of 8?) uncolored folding charts of depths in the East and Hudson Rivers and along Staten Island. One page, with storm signal flags, in color. Appears to be lacking the chart of Arthur Kills, Staten Island. The text consists primarily of tables showing the times of high and low tides for every day of 1909 for the East River, Hudson River, Sandy Hook New Jersey, Governor's Island and Bayonne. There is also considerably more information relevant to navigation, steamships and sailing in the waters around New York City. Very rare. There are no editions of this work shown in OCLC.
