About the Author
I've always been a roadrunner. Growing up on a farm in Georgia. I learned the value of freedom. My parents encouraged me to be curious, enjoy diversity, and live every day to the fullest. My college days were spent organizing parties, playing a lot of poker, and singing in the glee club. I did find the library my senior year which enabled me to go to grad school! In 1969, I served Viet Nam as an infantry unit commander with the 82nd Airborne Division. Like the Road Runner, paratroopers don't fly, they glide! My first professional job was with a major bank in North Carolina. But, I soon needed more freedom and in 1979, formed a consulting firm. I have been married for over thirty-four years to the coolest woman on the planet and have a terrific son in his late twenties who's a commercial real estate specialist in Atlanta. My non-work passions are writing, fishing, and having great parties. My work passion is helping organizations create a culture where people are "in love" with their work, feel committed to their customers, nurture great partnerships with their associates, and invent each day like something truly epic was just around the corner.
