American Brewer. He has specialist knowledge of the image of beer, beer and food, developing beer menus, and the structure of the brewing and pub industry. He has been a judge at many beer competitions and is currently chairman of the Tesco Drinks Awards Beer panel. He is Chairman of the British Guild of Beer Writers. Widely traveled, he has visited many countries to experience different beer cultures and traditions.
