Before the Body Falls

"Stop me, if you can find me."

KwaZulu Union Bay City has spent fourteen years rebuilding itself on a lie.

When attorney Dingane Mkhize goes to war against a former mayor's empire in a corruption trial the city's law was built to prevent, he's not just building a case. He's settling a score. What he doesn't know is that the bodies falling across the city are not random. They are a reckoning fourteen years in the making.

Each victim is a pillar of the establishment. Each death is a sin made flesh. And Private Investigator Mandisa Xaba is hunting the killer whose victims all share one thing: they were there the day the war tore the city apart. But the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she gets to a secret that will destroy everything she thought she knew about herself.

Some truths only surface when the past refuses to stay buried. And in KwaZulu Union Bay City, justice has a price - and someone is making sure it gets paid.
