Before you date him, investigate him is a realistic, light-hearted 'how-to' book for women, or men, who want to protect themselves in the internet dating world and become their own online investigator. The book instructs its readers how to uncover information about potential suitors, find out if they are married, find out if they are dating around and identify dating frauds, such as identity theft, product redirection fraud and other internet scams commonly victimizing online daters, social networkers and online surfers. This book instructs its readers how to identify their reputation online and what to do to protect it. This book also exposes lies and deceptions in dating profiles, email conversations, chats, texting, instant messaging and other electronic communication. The book is written by two highly experienced police detectives and homeland security experts.
About the Author
Sam Del Rosario and Lou Savelli provide expert investigative assistance to police departments and private citizens, especially as it pertains to Internet and Computer crimes and the use of gathering information from Social Networking sites. They have helped and empowered countless victims take control of their lives through conducting their own investigations via the Internet. They have done so, again, and made it fun and easy, in this book. Sam Del Rosario is now a police officer in the City of Bethlehem, PA and a Deputy Coroner for the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He is one of the leading innovators on Internet Investigations and Gathering Intelligence through Social Networking Sites. He has conducted countless successful criminal investigations and has utilized his skills with Internet resources and computers to enhance and solve many of these investigations. Sam is part of Homefront Protective Group's Criminal Investigation Training Team providing training to law enforcement officers across the world. Sam has earned a Master's of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis on investigative forensics, and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center's Criminal Investigator Training Program, and has received extensive training on various topics to include forensics, criminal investigation, computer forensics, and internet investigations.
