About the Authors
Jen is a speaker, four-time bestselling author, and has worked with organizations such as The Walt Disney Company, Sony Studios, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Walmart, Costco, Target, Goodwill, and the U.S. Air Force. She has appeared on radio and TV programs, podcasts and blogs, sharing her money management expertise and knowledge. She has spoken to audiences throughout the United States, including being a featured speaker to universities such as the University of Southern California, University of California, Irvine, University of California, Riverside, DeVry University, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With over 15 years' experience in the financial services industry, she uses her easy-going style and humor to help her clients go from financial overwhelm and confusion to clarity and peace of mind. Jen is a Certified Financial Education Instructor through the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) and is expanding her skills through the Money Coaching Institute. She values understanding the process and methodology that applies innovative research from the fields of neuroscience, neuroeconomics, and the behavioral sciences to help clients identify and change their money patterns and behaviors. Jen is committed to helping women take control of their finances so they gain clarity, hope, and confidence to live out their true passion and purpose. As a speaker for various workshops and conferences for businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based groups, her goal is to always inspire others to gain a better understanding of how money works and how to make a lasting and transformative change to improve their lives. Jen is an active board member and the Marketing Chair for The Youth Center, a nonprofit that annually serves over 3,000 kids in her community. Since 2014, she has been an instructor teaching financial literacy for high school students during their summer Leadership Academy program, that teaches valuable life skills. Jen is grateful to live in sunny Orange County, California, with her 8-year-old son, CJ, enjoys creating new traveling adventures, loves amazing food and wine, working out, and grounds herself daily in meditation and prayer. She believes in always striving to become the best version of herself.
For over 20 years, Jen has flexed her creativity as a graphic designer by specializing in brand identity, packaging, displays, and digital marketing for major companies and brands. Her passion lies in taking an idea, visualizing it in its final stage, and executing it to convey a clear and effective message. Her strong design foundation can be attributed to attending Art Center College of Design and Otis College of Art and Design.
