Before I Go to Sleep / Bago Ako Matulog: Babl Children's Books in Tagalog and English

Bago Ako Matulog / Before I Go to Sleep
Babl Children's Books in Tagalog and English

Thomas Hood’s classic nineteenth-century poem is brought to life with Mary Jane Begin’s bright and detailed illustrations in this edition of Before I Go to Sleep. On a summer evening, when it’s just too hot to sleep, a young boy passes the time by imagining all the animals he’d like to be and what he’d do as that animal. Perhaps a regal hound who chases the postman for fun, or a polar bear selling ice on an iceburg, or even a lion eating bananas in his pyjamas! The fun goes on and on, but before he can figure out what exactly he wants to be, the boy finds himself drifting off to sleep. The perfect book for bedtime, you and your young one will love this warm and playful poem illustrated with Mary Jane’s dreamy and clever art, all while learning a new language!
