Before You Write: 25 Costly Mistakes That Make Self-Published Books Fail and the System to Fix Them Before You Start

Most self-published books fail.

Not because the writing is bad.

Not because the author isn’t talented.

But because the book was doomed before it was ever written.

If you’re planning to write a book—or you’ve already started—this is the part nobody tells you:

The biggest mistakes happen before Chapter 1.

• Choosing an idea nobody is searching for

• Writing for “everyone” instead of a real audience

• Skipping market validation

• Ignoring genre expectations

• Building a book with no clear positioning

By the time you realize these mistakes… it’s too late.

You’ve already invested months. Sometimes years.

This book gives you a different path.

Inside, you’ll discover the 25 most common pre-writing mistakes that cause books to fail—and how to avoid them before you waste time, money, and effort.

Each chapter shows you:

• What the mistake is (and why almost every author makes it)

• The real cost of getting it wrong

• How to fix it immediately

• How to prevent it going forward

This is not a book about writing better sentences.

This is a book about:

• Choosing the right idea

• Finding a real audience

• Positioning your book to sell

• Building a strategy before you start

Whether you’re:

• Writing your first book

• Stuck halfway through a manuscript

• Or tired of creating work that nobody reads

This book will give you clarity, direction, and a strategic advantage most authors never develop.

Before you write your book—read this first.
