Printed in Lyon, France by Count Giuseppe Govone on the presses of Audin & Cie for the members of the Limited Editions Club. The 15 full-page monochrome lithographs were printed in Paris by F. Mourlot. Limited edition 760 of 1500. Signed by artist Lydis on colophone page. A. P. Herbert wrote the preface. Printed on heavy stock, rough cut on side and bottom of text block; top is gilt. Boards are dark blue with overall stamped design. Gilt design on front and back boards is crisp and bright; spine is darkened but its gilt lettering, though darkened, is still clearly legible.Toning near hinges on front and back paste-downs. Slightly bumped front corners. 121 pages+, 13 1/2" x 9 3/4" Publisher's slipcase is stained and worn, but has effectively protected the book. Heavy, sorry no international orders.
