Synopsis
Beginner Series: Bass Method Level IV (Volume 4) begins to explore the area of the bass neck above the 5th fret, while simultaneously incorporating musical theory within the exercises. Some of the theory in this volume covered includes multirests, double flats and sharps, time signatures, as well as major scale exercises in two octaves using different interval patterns. Pentatonic scales and arpeggios and their uses are introduced. And as in all volumes, a selection of rhythm and ear training exercises is included at the back of the book.
