Ken Goldman teaches portrait, figure, and landscape painting at the Athenaeum School of Fine Art in La Jolla, California. He has also given lectures, slide shows, demonstrations, and workshops in California and Hawaii. His artwork has been featured in magazines such as the Artist's Magazine, Southwest Art, and Arizona Highways, and he has appeared as a guest artist on several television networks, including CBS and ABC.
Goldman studied figured drawing and painting at the New York Studio School, National Academy of Design, and Art Students League in New York, portraiture and figure drawing with Vern Wilson of the Los Angeles Art Center, and watercolor painting with Liane Collot D'Herbois in Europe. He served as exhibits designer/preparator for the San Diego Museum of Natural History and muralist for the San Diego Zoo.
Represented in the permanent collection of the San Diego Museum of Art, Goldman's work is also shown in numerous private collections abroad. He has exhibited at the Hammer Galleries in New York, Hatay Galleries in Boston, Riggs Gallery and Tarbox Gallery in San Diego, and Diane Nelson Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
