London: The Fountain Press, Ltd., 1940. A basic book of photography, no date, 1940 date surmised from the date it was bound in library cloth - may be earlier. Includes chapters on cameras, plates or films, lenses and shutters, exposure, development, contact printing, enlarging, reduction, toning, making lantern slides, colour photography, kinematography, making up solutions. Illustrated in black and white. Blue buckram, 100 pages. Ex-library (Phillips Academy) with all the typical markings. Otherwise in decent shape with a few issues, such as a detached frontis and a few margin chips. Hinges good, binding sound, pages clean. Nice, useful copy. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
