Behind in the Count: A Second Chance Baseball Romance (Nashville Songbirds)

Four years after Robby Becker broke her heart, Carina Ballerini never expected to see him again.

Then a minor league rehab assignment brings the former baseball star back into her life, and straight onto the charity softball team she's counting on to help secure a grant for the nonprofit she loves.

Robby never stopped regretting the choices that cost him the girl of his dreams. Faced with a second chance he never thought he'd get, he's determined to prove he's no longer the boy who let her down.

As Carina spends more time with the ex she worked so hard to forget, she catches glimpses of the thoughtful, loyal man she fell in love with in college. And as Robby shows up for her in ways he should have years ago, he realizes that some things are more important than baseball.

But while their chemistry never disappeared, convincing Carina to trust him with her heart again is another challenge entirely.

Behind in the Count is a second chance sports romance and the first book in the Nashville Songbirds Series. It is a full length, 18+ open door contemporary romcom with a guaranteed HEA!
