Behind the Makeup of a Leading Lady is the sequel in the Behind the Makeup series. The visionary and collaborator Darlene L. Hart has a desire to bring women together to share their message of hope in an effort to change the face of the silent hurting woman. This book is her latest collaboration project with 8 women First Lady Darlene L. Hart, Co- Pastor Michelle Limes, Pastor Patricia Jackson, First Lady Tamika Parran, Co-Pastor Tiffany Bryan, First Lady Rose Godlock, Pastor Adrian Partlow, and Pastor Vondale Mack all serve as the Leading Lady in their church. They are also Wives, Mothers, Mentors, Coaches and Entrepreneurs. In each of their lives they encountered a challenge they were determined to defeat. Instead of allowing it to destroy them they decided to breakout of their comfort zone and confront this problem head on. Ultimately that decision took them to an alternate route leading them down a pathway to freedom. The autonomy of living without the disguise gave them an opportunity of a lifetime. The chance to be free! These women choose to boldly live as Christ has called them to live, authentically. Living the authentic life meant they could be themselves and not allow anyone else, but God to write there rule book. These women have accepted the assignment to share with the world their message of hope. We are no longer bound to the traditions of men, but we vehemently stand on the promises of God. About the Author
Darlene L. Hart affectionately known as Lady D is a Preacher, Teacher, Entrepreneur, and a personal cheerleader to many. She is the creator and visionary for the Behind the Makeup project. Lady D is on a mission for the body of Christ to remove their mask and live authentically as God created them. Under this movement Lady D brings together women from various backgrounds in ministry to share their testimony of hope and inspiration. The first book called Behind the Makeup, which is co-Authored and features 7 women Darlene Hart, Christal Wooten, Tracy Orie, Tonita Bell, Nya Small, Donnica Crossland and Lauraline Gregory all women who serve in ministry. Her second book in this series is Behind The Makeup of a leading Lady which is co-Authored by and features 8 women including herself. They are Patricia Jackson, Rose Godlock, Tamika Parran, Michelle Limes, Adrian Partlow, and Vondale Mack who all serve as the Leading Lady in their ministry. Lady Darlene is eager to release her much anticipated book, called 6 Months to Life, a 183-day guide to releasing the past and moving forward into the life you were meant to live. 6 Months to Life is a daily inspirational activity book that was created to encourage people to take active steps in changing their life. Lady D has also completed another life goal in July 2014, which was starting a foundation named Ensuring The Future, an organization geared to empowering families that are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Lady D was trained, and licensed by the late Bishop William F. Hart Jr., on January 6, 2002. God has ordained Lady D to be a servant and Women's Pastor for Women of the Word Ministry. She is an example of endurance and strength and believes in the power of prayer. Lady D has surrendered her life to God and the leading of the Holy Spirit accepting the call to stand alongside her husband and serve as Pastor and First Lady of the Christian Tabernacle Church of God located in Washington, DC. Lady D is married to Pastor Kevin T. Hart Sr. and together the Lord has blessed them with five amazing and gifted children Kierra, Khiyana, Kailynn, Kevin Jr. and Kaleb. Lady D believes that every family has the ability to thrive if they keep their faith in God and a prayer on their lips. Lady D is always striving to be an example of God before all mankind and echo Him throughout the earth. Through this book it is their desire to see men and women live out their dreams and walk in their purpose.
