Being Is Leading - Study Guide

Kobe Bryant died. An international pandemic went from "hoax" to deadly. Countries locked down. Apple and Nike temporarily closed. Professional sports seasons were abruptly suspended. The federal and state governments prohibited large gatherings of any kind, and Easter and resurrection services moved online. Months later, many of these restrictions are still in place.

With the world as we know it in flux, the question we must all ask is how we can be relevant leaders in a rapidly changing world. In Being As Leading, Dr. Kendra A. Momon--professor of politics and leadership and a pastor at one of the most multicultural churches in America--shares principle-centered strategies designed to provide a blueprint for how to be creative with the twists and turns of leadership culture, not shaped by changes and disruptions in it.

Dr. Kendra Momon (Dr. Mo) is a Full Professor of Politics, Division Chair of Politics, History, and International Studies, and Director of the Rich Foundation Urban Leadership Program at Oglethorpe University. Concurrently, she serves alongside her husband Andrew (Mo) L. Momon, Jr., as the Assistant Lead Pastor of Victory Midtown. She is also co-founder of Momon Leadership, specializing in mentoring and leadership. She lives in Atlanta and loves sneakers, sunny days and sunflower seeds.
