A collection of 211 various colour illustrated WEDDING Greetings Telegrams to a Menheer Ysebaert Devos of Ypres. all dated 1942 (when occupied by Germany). There are 6 designs of which many duplications are here. They have been bound together in a two-tone red and black cloth. They are all fine examples on thicker paper that normal for such ephemeral items, all are addressed with short messages of congratulations with senders names added on most if not all. Most in Flemish or French. Unique collection. *Some of these artists were academy status Belgian painters inc Herman Richir who died in 1942 and Fernand Toussaint.

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance.
