Not Just a Believer: Becoming a True Disciple

What if being a Christian wasn’t just about believing but becoming?

In Not Just a Believer, Rodney L. Rice delivers a bold, heartfelt challenge to step beyond surface-level faith and into the deeper, transformative walk of true discipleship. If you’ve ever felt like there’s more to following Jesus than just Sunday services and Bible verses, this book is your wake-up call.

Through powerful real-life stories, Scripture-based truths, and down-to-earth guidance, Rice unpacks what it really means to follow Jesus with your whole life, not just your words. You’ll explore:

• What it means to carry your cross daily

• How to abide in Christ when life gets hard

• The cost of discipleship and why it’s worth it

• How to live your faith out loud in today’s world

This isn’t a book filled with fluff or fancy theology. It’s raw, honest, and rooted in one mission: to help you become more than just a believer.

If you're ready to go from passive faith to passionate purpose, this is your next step.

Rodney Bud L. Rice is a seasoned pastor, chaplain, and spiritual mentor who has dedicated over 40 years to preaching the gospel and discipling believers across churches, hospitals, prisons, and international mission fields.
With a passion for truth and a heart for transformation, Rodney has committed his life to helping others move beyond surface-level faith into deep, Spirit-led discipleship. His unique perspective comes from real-world ministry—comforting the hurting, confronting spiritual complacency, and challenging believers to fully surrender to Christ's call.
Rodney writes with the conviction of a teacher, the compassion of a shepherd, and the urgency of a watchman. His books reflect a consistent theme: the Christian life is not one of comfort, but of calling. Whether addressing spiritual warfare, discipleship, or reverence for God, his message is clear—faith must be lived, not just believed.
Through his writing and ministry, Rodney continues to equip believers to walk boldly, grow spiritually, and stand firm in their identity as true disciples of Jesus Christ.
