Item description from seller

288 pages. Dark blue and gold stamped flags and lettering on red cloth cover. Author's inscription on first blank page following end leaf reads in full: "To / the Rev: P. S. Moscom / in memory of / the voyage of the / S. S. "Normannia" / July 1890 / with compliments / from the writer / Maud B Booth." Ex-library with older neatly inked numbers on spine, and usual, though non-intrusive, library markings inside. Spine is a little faded, though lettering and decoration remain bright. Top cover with flag motif and title/author remains bright and particularly attractive. Volume remains tight and is otherwise clean and intact. A nice copy with a good clean author's inscription. Strong source of contemporary information regarding the Salvation Army.

I offer a selection of more than 5000 books of all genre, as well as more than 1000 maps ranging from 15th century to early 20th. All inventory is hand selected and believed to be of significance for the collector, the reader, the historian or the general book lover. Historically, I have specialized in Kansas and regional history, but also maintain quality collections of Natural History, Theology, Americana, Railroad, Travel and Exploration, Medicine, Art, and Psychology, Neurology, and Psychiatry. Fine bindings, plate books, signed and inscribed items are also an important part of my collections. Smaller, though intriguing collections of other genre are also a part of my holdings.
