Berkeley's Analysis of Perception

Berkeley's Analysis of Perception is an internal analysis of the development and consequences of Berkeley's interpretation of the perceptual process. It seeks to show that the implications of Berkeley's understanding of perception lead to conclusions later formulated in phenomenalistic theories of perception.

The Author: Dr. George J. Stack is professor of philosophy and chairperson of the department of philosophy at SUNY Brockport. He received his Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University and has previously taught at Long Island University. He is the author of On Kierkegaard: Philosophical Fragments, Sartre's Philosophy of Social Existence, Kierkegaard's Existential Ethics, and Lange and Nietzsche, as well as of a number of articles and reviews.
