About the Authors

Matthias Bernt (PD Dr. habil.), geb. 1970, ist Forschungsgruppenleiter am Leibniz-Institut f�r Raumbezogene Sozialforschung und Privatdozent am Institut f�r Sozialwissenschaften der Humboldt-Universit�t zu Berlin. Sein besonderes Forschungsinteresse gilt der politischen Steuerung von Stadtentwicklungsprozessen.

Britta Grell (Dr. phil.) ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und arbeitete bis vor kurzem am John-F.-Kennedy-Institut (Abteilung Politik) der Freien Universit�t Berlin. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Sozial-, Arbeitsmarkt- und Migrationspolitik sowie st�dtische soziale Bewegungen in den USA.

Andrej Holm (Dr. phil.) ist Sozialwissenschaftler an der Humboldt-Universit�t zu Berlin. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Stadterneuerung, Gentrification und Wohnungspolitik.
