Hardback. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 347 pages; 18 p. of indexes, including 2 p. of Shaw's works, listed chronologically; illustrated with photos by Therese Bonney; from the author's Preface: "The death of Bernard Shaw has made possible the completion of a chronicle of his life. Among the many books on Shaw this one may modestly claim to be uniquely useful in that it gives a detailed account of his life in chronological order, with consequent ease of reference." Many references in footnotes, to Shaw's works and works of others. Book condition: Spine cloth is a little faded; inside of front cover shows evidence of a bookplate removal (brown linear rectangle of adhesive remnants-foxing-stain); the page margins throughout show a hint of tan tone-foxing; else book is inrather nice condition.
