Berry Merry Holiday: Story of Unity and Love

On a small farm nestled in the heart of Blackberry Island, a very special chicken named Bernise proves that love, kindness, and celebration can bring everyone together—no matter where they come from or what they believe.

Bernise, a unique chicken with feathers as dark and shiny as blackberries, is overjoyed when she becomes a mother to seven fluffy, blackberry-colored chicks. Eager to share her happiness, she plans a grand celebration to welcome her babies into the world. But Bernise soon realizes that not all of her friends celebrate the same holidays. Inspired by the beauty of diversity, she comes up with a heartwarming idea: an interfaith celebration where all her animal friends can share their traditions and come together to celebrate the joys of love, unity, and friendship.

Join Bernise, her husband Bart the Blackberry Rooster, and their beloved farm friends as they work together to decorate a magical tree, prepare a festive feast, and share stories of hope, peace, and joy. From the sparkling star atop the tree to the sweet-smelling hay pies on the table, this touching story highlights the importance of community, understanding, and the universal spirit of giving.

Bernise’s Blackberry Holiday is a charming, beautifully illustrated tale that reminds readers—young and old alike—that the best gift of all is the love and kindness we share with one another. Perfect for families, educators, and anyone looking to teach the values of inclusivity, respect, and the power of friendship, this story will warm hearts and inspire celebrations of every kind.
