This first format book (gold lettering) is in G+ condition. The exterior has a lightly bumped lower front corner and bumped head and heel of the spine, all without fabric damage. There is no point where there is any evident heavy use--even the bottom edges of the boards show little wear. The spine and front panel are mildly soiled--no overt damage, they just look used; perhaps it is the lack of color on the front panel that suggests that it is used. Except for an inked inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage.
