Best of Everything

Glamour
Success
Sex.

That's what lured young women to New York. For some it was an exotic playground where they were free for the first time to live out their dreams - and unleash their desires. For others it was a chance to build an exciting career...and to put their talents, ambitions, and sometimes their bodies on the line to get it. And for others, New York was the beginning of the end...a place where the search for love became a downhill struggle with sex, booze, and despair.

For Caroline, April, and Gregg - three vital, eager young girls new to the ways of the city - New York was all of those things, and more. Rona Jaffe's novel of their passionate lives and struggles reveals for all time what a girl has to give, to get THE BEST OF EVERYTHING.
