It is direct, forceful, realistic, and it makes no empty promises. Attitudes toward work, oneself, and others are discussed with the purpose of making clear which attitudes will foster success and good relationships, and how these attitudes may be cultivated. Among the topics are the importance of recognizing one's own and others' strengths, learning how to listen and say "thank you" to subordinates, and dealing with drug and alcohol problems.
