Beige printed wraps. 56 pp. A cookbook issued by the Chi Beta Club of the North Hampton, New Hampshire Congregationalist Church. This includes recipes for desserts, breads, fish, meat, and other meals, with "war-wise" recipes included (using less or no sugar). A small section at the rear provides household cleaning hints and time-savers (a little starch in linen makes them more fun to iron). GOOD condition. Small area of staining to the lower fore edge of the front cover, with a few small stains to the rear. Minor creasing and soiling to the wraps. Scattered foxing and general fading in the interior.
