This riveting memoir shares the rarely told account of a military wife living with a combat veteran suffering from PTSD. Narrating with blunt-force honesty and irreverent dark humor, Alicia Delory weaves the tale of her Army husband's heartbreaking return from Afghanistan with scenes from her experience as the daughter of an alcoholic. Through vignettes of both past and present, Delory takes the reader along on her journey as she learns to cope with a husband gripped by trauma and a father tragically succumbing to addiction.
