Beyond Baroque books was founded in 1968 and is dedicated to emerging, over-looked and out-of-print poetry, especially from Los Angeles-based writers. The press continues to unearth cult rarities as well as collections by noted performance poets, educators and cultural leaders. In addition to our bookstore, we host writing workshops, author readings and openings, open mic readings, art and music performances, and much more!
